Hi all, We have an internal wiki page build on confluence app, it's on Linux and runs as a web service using apache.
Currently its available only on port 80. (and 8090)
I need to reconfigure it so that its available on 443 and add the certificate. Which have been purchased and downloaded.
I have experience with linux and apache but new to confluence. Can someone please point me to right documentation or steps of enabling https over port 443? As I understood its not as easy and straightforward as configuring ssl for apache, I could not even find root document folder to add to Virtual Host settings. So assumed there should be another way.
Confluence Version | 6.4.0 |
Thank you
Hi @Sanan Ibrahimoff ,
you can follow this guide to configure Confluence and SSL. As you said it's more difficult to do this directly in Confluence than with Apache, so if you can I'd suggest using Apache.
Let me know if you have any questions,

Hi Alexis, Thank you for this. I will try to configure it on Apache side.
