Hello Manoj,

Happy to help you with this!

According to Brightcove's documentation, you can either embed a video using iFrame or using an in-page embed code.

I'm not sure which method you were using, but if you use the standard iFrame option, you could try using the iFrame Macro and include the URL that Brightcove provides you in their script. The widget connector might not work properly with their servers, which could be the reason you see the widget connector icon.

If you are having trouble, could you share the details for an example video you wish to embed and I can test it with you?

Regards,

Shannon

Hi Shannon,

Thanks a lot for addressing my issue. Earlier I used the Widget connector for adding the Brightcove video which didn't work. But, using iFrame the issue is resolved. Do you know how to enable the fullscreen mode for the Brightcove video added in the confluence page?

Hi Manoj,

Happy to hear that you were able to get the video using iFrame. But regarding the fullscreen mode not being available in iFrame, I discovered in an earlier thread on Community that most video hosts do not provide this option while their video is played in iFrame:

I would probably place a link to the video directly under the iFrame letting people know that if they want to view fullscreen, they can open the video from that link.

Take care,

Shannon
