Hi @Tony Montana

Currently this is not possible for the entire tree so you will have to do it manually for each page.

There is feature request for this https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-5095?_ga=2.55239275.1723528854.1550127847-242478790.1537430518

If you need it, then vote for it. The more votes, the more likely that Atlassian will implement it.

Best Regards

Dave

Hi @Tony Montana

There are a lot of features that you could need/want but not everything is in there and that is a good thing to, because Confluence would become very bulky and hard to manage i guess.

Atlassian constantly improves their tools but they prioritize according to what users need and what is important. Eventually it may or may not be added into Confluence.

But for me it seems that it is good as it is.

For example: You create a page that has a sort of an index with underlying pages and a button to create new pages under that page. It would be normal that you can not edit that page, but you should be able to edit the other underlying pages.

They allow for creating custom plugins (that you can even sell/buy on their marketplace) so you could look into that if you really need that functionality.

Best regards

Dave

@Dave Bosman _Inetum_

This does not affect the Confluence and its complexity. These are basic (!) things.
