How to create a jira ticket from confluence without embedded a filter in the confluence page

If I select some text in a confluence page I am offered the option to "Create Issue". If I do this a new jira ticket is create (good) but a new filter is inserted into my page (bad)

Is there a way to create a jira ticket from confluence without changing the page?

Hi @Bamboo,

You can select some text on that page on next to the button for inline comments is a button to create a Jira issue from that text.
