How to create Master Template and Child templates in confluence?

Hi I want to create a Master Template for FDD and want to create coupe of child Templates under that Master FDD template. Please advise how can i do that in Confluence.

Hi @Debasish Biswas welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Templates in Confluence are not hierarchical, you cannot nest a template in another template.

What you can do is work with an Excerpt Include Macro or an Include Page Macro.

In Cloud, creating a blueprint with child pages isn't possible out-of-the-box either as far as I know.

Maybe a third-party app like Page Tree Creator Pro can meet your requirements?

You can create a master template in Confluence by creating a template with the content you want to use. Then, you can use the Create from Template Macro for child templates.

Thank you. I am trying that now  but looks like missing some thing.

Actually, I want when I use a Global Master FDD template (created by me before in Global area) to create a page for FDD in my space then it should automatically create sub page for child template for the master FDD template (say FDD-Introduction, FDD- Process Flow etc.)

like

Page

FDD  (master template)

          FDD Introduction

           FDD Process Flow 

Please let me know if it is possible and the steps
