We have two instances of Confluence, one internal and one a Knowledgebase exposed to customers. What is the easiest way to copy pages (and their children) between these instances?

A rudimentary but straightforward way for one page at a time is:
For me I'm transferring just a few pages, alas that's not practicable for many pages and keeping them synched but it works for my use case.
Hello,
Welcome to the Community! While Confluence does not provide easy way to copy multiple pages and their children between instances. The Atlassian Marketplace has apps that provide this functionality. One option is Comala Remote Publishing, an add-on for Comala Document Management. Together they allow you to define a workflow for your draft content on your internal instance, and once approved 'Publish' the content to your Knowledge Base instance.
Comala Document Management and Comala Remote Publishing are available on the Marketplace and are free for 30 days.

That content has been archived, but based on the title that's a different problem - duplicating a page or pages from one space to another within the same tenancy/instance.
Doing that is easy, click the ... and select 'Duplicate'.
