Hi guys,
Can you send me How to Configure Confluence server IP port from 8090 to 80 in windows
There are really only two options here.
Oddly, while the modification of Tomcat sounds more simple, it is actually more of a faff (and security risk) than installing a proxy service. I always recommend running a proxy in front of Atlassian systems unless you have a very very good reason not to.
We're still happy to point you at docs for either option, but to get the right one, could you tell us which you would prefer? And, if the answer is "proxy server", which one you would prefer? (For myself, I always choose Apache, but that's because I spent years running systems behind Apache servers that had been built by a couple of the people who wrote it, so I'm comfortable with it now. If you go with a proxy, pick the one you know best - IIS, Lighttpd, nginx, apache, etc)
Can you send me URL that shows how to tell the Tomcat running Confluence to listen on port 80 instead of 8090 ?
