How do you keep highlighted information within your document when you transfer it to Confluence?

There are some documents that I highlight words and/or place text box images around words and transfer that document to Confluence.   There used to be a time when the highlighted words and text box images in a document transferred to Confluence, but not anymore.  Is this no longer available in Confluence?

I did some testing and discovered that if I copy the highlighted information within a document and then paste it into "Paint 3D" and then paste it into Confluence the highlight remains.
