I'm trying to add an Attachments macro to the page footer so that all pages in a space automatically display files attached to the page.

Whenever I add `{attachments}` it claims `no files shared here yet.` even when there are attachments on the page.

5 years have elapsed since the last comment and the bug has existed for 7 years... Would love for Atlassian to explain why ?

Hello Tom,

Thank you for reporting this. Indeed, it seems that it's related to these bugs:

  • CONFCLOUD-52321 Attachments macro doesn't work correctly in footer
  • CONFCLOUD-57960 Macros that need a page context aren't rendered in the header or footer

I was able to test this on my own instance and confirm the behavior.

At this time, there is no workaround, but please vote by clicking This affects my team and you will automatically be added to the list of watchers.

Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Shannon
