How do modify/change the tabs within the Tabs Container?

I have created a confluence page and have added Tabs Container and within it 5 Tabs Pages. The tabs themselves are either transparent or white so it looks like the words are floating above the page. I would like to border the tabs and vary the background color on each tab. 

I imagine I have to use HTML which I am unfamilar with but have coded before, it seems that I also need use CSS but don't really know how to access or work in it.

Where do I find the code and how do I make it work with my page.
