How do I use custom html to force a link to open in a new tab/window?

I need to implement the target="_blank" attribute for a few specific links (to internal pages).

If there is a non-html way to do this, that would be just as good.

Hello Otto,

Confluence doesn't have this feature natively, and it appears not to be something that we plan on implementing in the near future.

You could use one of the following add-ons, provided you're on Server (not available on Cloud):

Otherwise, you can try to do so via the HTML Macro by applying your desired attribute
