How do I turn off /wiki/welcome Page?

Hi all,

I am sick and tired of being brought to the following URL whenever I try to access things like Confluence Recent Activity, All Spaces, and other area's in Confluence.

https://mtbtools.atlassian.net/wiki/welcome

It seems to be random and some users don't have this issue, others do, so this is very annoying.

Anthony,

Thank you for contacting us about this. I believe this should take you to the onboarding process of Confluence Cloud. Can you confirm if you were able to complete this the first time?

If you've already completed it entirely and you still get the message, then we'll want to have a look at your instance. I would recommend first testing if you replicate it in more than one browser, and also with all browser extensions disabled, in incognito mode, and after your cache has been cleared.

Regards,

Shannon

Good Morning Shannon,

It seems to still be happening even while being incognito mode. I have not once had to do the on-boarding process for Confluence cloud given that the original Admins who set it up, did.

Why would new members, or myself, need to see this page if we already have the Confluence Cloud setup?

What's more confusing is that this doesn't seem to replicate every single time, but instead is more sporadic between myself and other users. Is there a way to just turn it off? "disable welcome/tutorial/on boarding"?

Anthony,

Thank you for confirming that with me. It's a very odd case, indeed.

I would recommend that you reach out to the Cloud Support Team with this. They have access to test with your instance and can review the server logs.

Let me know if you have any trouble with that. Once the issue is resolved, feel free to come back here and let us know what the cause was.

Regards,

Shannon
