When using 'Display Jira work items in a list' - how do I show all rather than some and a scroll bar?
I want my Confluence page to show ALL the items. I dont' want items hidden off the bottom of the list with a scroll bar. The point is to see everything.
I can't find a way to show all results. Help, please?
Unfortunately it is the default behavior that can't be changed at the moment.
Even in Jira itself the search list only shows 50 results at a time.
With the so-called "Jira Legacy" macro you could show up to 1,000 work items at a time, but I wouldn't recommend you to use it as it will be deprecated on April 2026 and only usable for customers with Confluence Cloud and Jira Data Center.
I hope I could help you a little bit with my answer.
Best regards,
Vitali
Getting in at the last minute, but still, maybe someone will find my answer helpful.
As Vitali said previously, unfortunately, the new issue search view shows only 50 results per page.
However, if this macro behavior disturbs you, we have a popular app that helps to solve this case - Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence.
It assists with working with tables, and if you have the app on your instance (many users confuse it with Confluence's native functionality), you can customize the table to show as many rows as you need using one of our app's macros. You can check whether you have it by simply typing /table anywhere on the Confluence page. If you see something like the screenshot below, then that's us:
Let me know if, by any chance, you already have Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence and wish to get further instructions on how to solve your case 🤗

Hi, @Rachel Clements
That's definitely a pain and obvious lack of customization. But you can get it fixed with a macro as well 😊
I've been testing the app we're developing and managed to achieve a good result to solve your task. As you can see, this is a user macro that lists all Jira issues (or per project) as a table.
Items are not hidden.
If that's your case, please take a closer look at it here.
The look and feel is customizable (the dataset being displayed as well).
I'll be happy to assist if you need any further help.
