How do I set the default space for specific user group?

There are two big groups that use the same instance on Confluence. When we log in is there a way to set the space that you default to? 

i.e. setting a user group to all have the same landing page?

I am afraid the users will have to do it themselves as it is a personal setting. Or you will have set it for all of them via the database.
