I am trying to paste a picture within an info macro box, but every time I do so, it loads outside the blue box. How can I get the image to stay inside the box?
Hi Connor,
Welcome to Atlassian Community. It's nice to meet you!
Adding images within the panel macros themselves isn't supported, but is being tracked in the request below:
I worked with another customer on this, and it was discovered that when you add bullet points in the panel, they revert to the Atlassian Document Format. This allows for images within bullet points, even if they are in an unsupported macro. You can check this out in the case below:
This is what I told Connie about using this as a workaround:
In this case, the bullet point formatting is controlled by the Atlassian Document Format rather than the new editor. It seems that is what is allowing the images to be embedded. For example, this would likely work across our other products too.
You can continue to use this as a workaround; if anything changes with ADF then it might stop working. Until then, you can follow the feature request I shared.
Could you give that a try and see if it works?
Shannon
Drag and drop sometimes feels a little bit drunk. Try you clipboard (CTRL-C, CTRL-V). This usually works.

Florian,
That is how I have been trying to do it. Unfortunately, when I use CTRL-V, the picture just pastes outside of the info box. I can type in the box, but have not been able to paste pictures inside of it.
