How do I move tables around within a larger Confluence article

I created a Confluence template that is made of a series of tables.  

When I create a page with that template, I may need to add some text between the tables or move the tables around.  I can't figure out how to do that.  My cursor doesn't have anywhere to land for a new insertion point and I don't see a way to click and drag the table.  Even if I try to copy the table, thinking I could insert (paste) the copy where I want it and then delete the original, I don't see a way to indicate the insertion point.

Hi @KAbuissa

You can select an entire table by clicking on the small square on the top left (red arrow in the screenshot). Then, you can cut it with Ctrl+X (Cmd+X on Mac), set the cursor to the desired location of the page and paste it.

Alternatively, you can use the copy feature indicated with the green arrow on the screenshot.

Thanks for your suggestion.  I think my problem is that my template is nothing but table after table after table.  See below.  If I try to put my cursor in the area marked with the green arrow, Confluence thinks I am trying to insert a column.  

As a workaround, I inserted several carriage returns at the top of the template and then copy/pasted the original tables into the top area, interspersing with carriage returns.  That gave me somewhere to place my cursor and paste the tables.  Is there a more elegant way?

@KAbuissa If you select an entire table with the small square at the top left, then press "arrow up" and "enter", a carriage return should be inserted above the table.
