How do I migrate from Confluence 7.0.1 on prem to Confluence Cloud?

I attempted to use the Import backup option and uploaded the ZIP file and once the import kicked off an error was received about needing a new JIRA server version?

Error states: "low_version_error_importWe cant import your file because its from an old server version."

I have Confluence 7.0.1 on a CentOS 7 VM and I started a Confluence cloud premium trail and I had high hopes of importing my data and hit the ground running.

Is this not a supported migration option to Confluence Cloud?

I should have used the built in tool from the local Confluence install Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistant tool.

I was able to migrate successfully.
