How do I limit how much history a Change History macro displays on the page?

I have a Change History macro on a page and there are so many changes that the list is becoming unreasonably long.  I would like to limit the size of the display, either by just displaying some, but not all, of the history, or having a way to scroll through it, so it doesn't take up so much real estate on the page.  I tried putting it into a panel but there doesn't seem to be a way to limit the panel size either.  Can you suggest something? Thank you.

As  confluence documentation says, there is no possible way to reduce the size of the history macro.
