How do I get back the top edit toolbar on the new Confluence UI?

I've got the new content layout beta in Confluence and have lost the top toolbar. Now my view is this: instead of this:

I can get the floating toolbar, but only when I have written and highlighted text and highlighted, which is really time consuming. Apparently it's a pinned toolbar, but I cannot find it listed in the 3 ellipses menu

 or in Confluence Admin. Please help!

Actually, panic over folks - I found it! 

If you do highlight text to get the floating toolbar, then the 3 ellipses on that will give you the option to change the toolbar. Phew.

I'll leave this here in case anyone else encounters the same issue :)

But WHERE is that? I got curious to see what the in-line with text option looked like and now I can't get the fixed toolbar back. I'm wasting so much time on this!

OMG ... finally fully read through what you wrote and found it. I just wasted 20 minutes on this!

OH.My.GAWD!!!! I spent over 2 hours trying to figure this out! This update is a time waster. Please bring the darn toolbar back when we click edit. It serves no purpose to keep it hidden! I update my confluence page several times a day, having this not as an easy access is awful!

Just an FYI, it looks like they might have changed the popup UI again. The restore option is now a pin icon in the the editor popup. Select some text on the page to display the popup editor toolbar. (Shown here with the pin icon highlighted and the tooltip displayed.)
