How do I enable Autoformatting in the "new look" JIRA?

So, I believe you might be referring to markup within Confluence Cloud's new editor. Is this correct? You mentioned Jira in your title so I just want to be sure.

If so, we've removed Markup from the editor, and are replacing it with Markdown.
