I wanted to download comments history related to each Jira ticket. How do I do that

If you have JIRA cloud then this is not possible. With JIRA server you can follow Nic’s guidance on pulled the data from the jiraactions db. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/What-database-table-stores-comments-for-JIRA-Download-version/qaq-p/342220
