How do I disable a User or Remove the Site Access of the User on Confluence using REST API?

Hi All,

I would like to know if Atlassian has added a feature to disable a user's access or Removing an user's site access using Confluence's REST API? I searched through the documentation, but I do not find an article fulfilling this.

This is much required for the automation point-of-view. So that each time when removing I don't have to do it on the Console GUI, but rather would do it using my Python script.
