How do I create a place-holder to an undeveloped page in the new page editor?

I used to just enclose a Page title in square brackets [ and ], and Confulence would either create a link if the page already existed, or a brown place-holder to remind me to create the new page.

Hello Bob,

Thank you for contacting us about this! I believe you're referring to Undefined Page Links. Can you confirm?

I've tested it myself and it does seem that the functionality is missing from the new page editor in Confluence Cloud. Further investigation confirmed that we have an open bug ticket for this:

Essentially, you can just type the name of the page in the search box, and hit enter. It inserts a link into the page with that title. However, when clicking on it, it doesn't take you anywhere you can create it. Furthermore, the link isn't added to the list of Undefined pages in the Space Settings.

I'm including this thread on the bug ticket, but please also click This affects my team so we can log the number of affected customers. This will also cause you to watch the thread so you can be updated of any progress.

Thank you again for reporting this!

Regards,

Shannon
