New to Confluence, and this is probably a really easy answer, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to add myself to our Contacts page. Any assistance would be appreciated. I've looked through the frequently asked questions and also tried the help function, but unable to find the answer.
Hi @Kim Chatwin
It depends on how your team built that Contacts page.
There are a few common setups, and the approach differs for each.
If it's a standard Confluence page with contact info laid out in a table or as text, you should be able to edit it directly. Open the page, click the pencil icon (or just press "E" on your keyboard), and add your own row or entry. Save when you're done.
If the page uses the built-in User Profile macro — you'll recognize it because each person's entry shows their avatar, name, and role pulled dynamically from their Confluence profile — then someone with edit access to that page needs to insert a new macro instance for you. In the editor, type /user profile, select the macro from the dropdown, enter your Confluence username, and it'll pull in your details automatically.
