How do I add an app for just myself not for all users in our company?

Hello,

How do I take advantage of using an app for free if I am the only user who needs it? There are many users we have on Confluence at our company, but I want to use a specific app without being charged for every user having access to this. How do I go about doing this?

Hi @Louidgie Theoret,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The number of app licenses has to match the number of Confluence licenses that you have, you cannot add an app for a subset of users. So if you have 100 Confluence licenses you have to buy 100 licenses for the app you want to add.

It is not possible to install an app just for your use, the moment you install an app within Confluence or Jira, all users will be able to use it. That's because if it's a paid app, the amount to be charged will be on top of the number of users licensed for the product for which that app was designed.
