How can we enter new data into a spreadsheet and save it on going?

I have created a Spreadsheet in the confluence page.

The issue is the new entry of data is not getting saved. The page visual says its live spreadsheet, but information does not get saved. Very frustrating

Hi @Suhas Kurse

Can you please share a screenshot of the app/error as suggested by @Tomislav Tobijas

There are a few apps in the Atlassian Marketplace that allow Excel to be embedded in a Confluence page, and it could also be the native spreadsheet macro in Confluence.

We will need more context before we can assist further with what could have caused the problem.

Thank you.

Hello @Suhas Kurse,

Here’s Alex from ikuTeam. We have the perfect solution for your use case! Take a look at our Excel for Confluence app, which lets you attach or create Excel files and edit them directly inline in Confluence.

Hi @Suhas Kurse ,

Can you maybe share how you are 'embedding' a spreadsheet in the Confluence page? Like, an actual example/screenshot could be helpful? 👀 (just a note that this is a public forum)

I'm asking because there are a couple of ways you can add an Excel table to a page, so this could help us with troubleshooting things. Like, you can use macro to display attachments, use third-party macros/apps, or embed Excel from SharePoint, Google Drive, etc.

Also, if you cannot share additional info, have you tried reaching out to your Confluence or Atlassian admins to see if they can help out? 🤔

Cheers,
Tobi
