How can page metadata be displayed directly in the page view instead of the Page Information view

Hi Team,

 

We are trying to embed the page information inside page like below

i am planning to display page creator, page version along with above data.

Hi @ssam 

Well, I put the link to the page's Info Page into the Iframe macro and got this:

Not ideal, but works - but I'd put it into an expand box...

There are also marketplace apps but I'm not sure they make it easier.

 

Another option would be to create a single entery database and embed it on a page...

(or a single DB with all the pages in the space and reference that DB from every page)

Hi @ssam  we use this display metadata and it shows on the page like this:

In this way, you can also display the metadata by preview in the edit metadata without entering the editing page mode. Also you can select which fields to be displayed in the page:

We make a Confluence Marketplace app, Document Metadata for Confluence Cloud. The app allows you to directly embed metadata like creation data, update date, last editor, page author, .... into the page, and also into the page properties macro like in your example.
