How can i create workflow for an document (not the page) in confluence?

Hello Gurus,

I am exploring technical options available for creating a excel or Word document approval workflow in confluence, i understand there are tools for page approval which is not my ask.

With approval, i am also looking for automated email to reviewers once the document is posted / into the confluence.

Any suggestions/expert opinions.
