How can I temporarily change page orientation in a PDF export?

Hi all,

I used @ page to set up my original portrait page, but I have some wide tables that I want to put into a landscape page. I can use a macro to apply a class for this in the Confluence page, but how do I change the orientation in the CSS? Or should I be doing this in the macro?

(I'm testing Confluence Server 6.13)

Hey Rosalind,

There is a macro for doing this (and it is the easiest way - it's not native in Confluence) you can use. You don't have to apply a style to the class macro. This macro is instead the PDF Landscape macro in the free PDF Macros for Confluence add-on. There are some other handy macros in that add-on if you're going to be doing a lot of PDF exports, it's definitely worth an install!

Hi Daniel,
I agree, PDF Macros for Confluence is great and we have been using it for several years and through several upgrades.

Testing for our upgrade to 6.13 (server) it is not working, which is why I'm having to rapidly find alternatives... all our PDF documentation is generated directly from Confluence pages!

I tried using PDF Macros for Confluence with a blank CSS and had the same problems as with my current stylesheet, so that's not the issue. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the macro too, but I still have the same problem...

So, I'm back to trying to make the landscape orientation work for a particular class in the CSS... does that sound like it should work? Could this work if I nest it under "Page"? (No luck so far, it seems to be all in portrait or all in landscape!)

All suggestions welcome!
