How can I stop the JIRA Chart from updating in a Confluence page

Hi,

We are using Confluence to create and store daily reports for our project progress.

The report template contains a number of JIRA Chart widgets (test case progress, defect count/status, etc.) but the problem we have is that all previous day reports continue to be updated with the latest figures rather than maintaining their status of that day.

This means that previous reports held for audit/traceability have little value as they only show the current status.

Is there any way to select the charts to only update to a certain point? Or set something manually that will prevent the charts from updating further once set?

Thanks,

A

No, the reports are supposed to be showing the current data.

If you want to keep snapshots, you'll need to copy the current display or data to somewhere else.

Thanks, this is exactly what I've ended up having to do, take screenshots from the JIRA dashboard at the end of every day and create the daily update page in Confluence with those images.

Not great as the images aren't interactive/clickable and quite a faff for something I would guess a lot of people need to do?

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to respond
