How can I make left navigation look like the old Documentation Theme?

I would like a Search box on the left navigation that appears on every page. And I would like to change the left navigation to resemble the old Documentation Theme layout that was easier to use and let you modify it better. Thanks!

Hello,

If you are using Confluence server instance you can add search window to the sidebar by adding macro to the wiki markup from the Space Admin as described at the bottom of Configure the Sidebar guide:

To add a search field to the sidebar add the following wiki markup for a search macro in the Sidebar field.

For the Livesearch Macro macro:

{livesearch}

For the Page Tree Search Macro macro:

{pagetreesearch}
