I have a Confluence page that we use as a checklist. Recently it seems they introduced a new behavior where a few seconds after checking a checkbox, the page scrolls back to the top, losing your place. Is there somewhere I can turn off this behavior?
Hi @Frank Schmitt welcome to the community. I found CONFCLOUD-84666 on Atlassian's Jira Site which sounds very similar to your issue. I would suggest Voting For and Watching it for updates. It looks like it could use some steps to reproduce. It was created yesterday.
Hmm, @Frank Schmitt ... Have you tried using an incognito window/mode or a different browser? I'm not experiencing this behavior, and I've tested a couple of sites we own. 👀
It might be an issue with your current session, so potentially try clearing your cache and cookies to see if that will help.
Do other users on your site also experience this? If so, as Jason said, you or your Confluence admin could reach out to Atlassian Support for them to check what's going on 🤔
Cheers,
Tobi

Hey Frank, this seems to me known behavior and I also found this Ugh- why does checking a box on an action item scroll the page up???.
Maybe this would be a good suggestion to Atlassian to update.
You can always view suggestions here https://jira.atlassian.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=10440 to see if this idea has been suggested, if it has you can vote on it and watch it for updates.
You can also give feedback in Atlassian apps or if you feel this is a bug you could always contact Atlassian Support also.
Let me know what you end up doing, if its a suggestion or a bug I can vote on it with you.
