How can I generate a PDF of a page found and send it by email with Automate Confluence?

Hi, we have Confluence Cloud Premiun and created a action with Automate Confluence to search for a page by date and then use Rovo to generate a summary of the found page and send it by email.

But I also need to send this page in PDF format, in the same mail. Is that possible?

Confluence Automation can email content, but attaching a generated page PDF in the same step is limited. Typical workaround is an external flow (API + automation platform/script) that exports page as PDF and sends as attachment.

As Ajay said, this is currently not supported without some custom solution. But, I've seen a couple of use cases/clients where they would like to have Rovo generate some kind of documents (incl. PDFs) either from Confluence or from Jira.

I'm not sure if we're there yet, but I could see this being available at some point in the future.

Now, maybe the best option would be to reach out to Support team and discuss your requirement with them so they can, potentially, create new feature request in JAC. 👀
