How can I fix the recent change in the appearance of the info panels?

Since last week, the info panels have been changing their appearance when the page is updated. Although they look the same as always when inserted into a Confluence page, when the page is updated, their color changes and the icon/emoji disappears. I've noticed that only the default info panels retain their original appearance; if I make any changes to the icon or color, the appearance changes. Does anyone know if this is a bug or a recent change? I’ve asked Rovo about it several times, but I haven’t received any helpful answers. I'm attaching screenshots to illustrate what I mean.

Not a solution to the actual problem, but at least a workaround that worked for me: Before you update the page, you can click on the menu on the left-hand side of the panel and select "Sync block".
For whichever reason this prevents the panel to change the the legacy one.
