How can I exclude ONLY attachments from the livesearch macro?

Hi,

I am using the livesearch macro, and I noticed that it is showing up various file attachments in the immediate results, which I don't want.

Is there a method to configure the plugin to specifically exclude attachments whilst still returning results for every other content type?

I attempted to use the macro shortcut with the parameters:

type=page,comment,blogpost

However this seems to not recognise the types that I have defined, and defaults back to the selection of "All" content types when I edit the macro configuration.

Thank you for contacting us. 

There's not a way to exclude attachments from the LiveSearch macro. Although a feature request was raised for this in the past, it was closed as we don't have plans in the near future to implement this. Have a look below:

You might be able to use one of the many Search add-ons on Marketplace for this, or write your own User Macro if you are comfortable with that.
