Hello everyone,
I tried the component "Gallery", but since I pasted screenshots I do not know the names of my images. However, to choose the images I want to display, I must add their names. Or their etiquette. But I've got no idea how to add an etiquette to an image.
Many thanks in advance for your help!
Hi @Marine Sauvalle - Welcome to the community!
The Gallery Macro has some documentation that may help with your question. I think you are asking about how to add a label, which is described in this article. https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/gallery-macro-139434.html
@Marine Sauvalle I always save my screenshot as a file with a name and then use the Add image, video, or file button to insert it on my page. This also adds it to the Attachments for the page with the file name I used, so I know what files to use in the Gallery macro if I use one. I can open the Attachments page to copy the file names, if needed. I can also upload a new version of the file if the screen changes and I need to replace the screenshot.
I don't know whether Confluence generates a name for an image you paste in and adds it in the Attachments page. If you go to the Attachments page, is there an entry for you pasted image? If so, you can use the file name listed there. If not, you may want to change the way you add the images to your pages.
