How are collaborative comments identified (author) when multiple edits are made?

Our edits are not real time completions, but over a period of days.  We utilize edit reviews across global time zones, where the comment(s) need to reflect the author as the cumulative content is reviewed so feedback to the author(s) can be provided upon final acceptance.

Is this a setting feature to show individual identifier?
