I have a spec in Confluence and I want to include only one paragraph into JIRA's ticket. I want this paragraph being visible and readable in JIRA and by clicking on it it will open the spec in Confluence. Using current links doesn't help me at all: Smart cards doesn't show anything and I'm not happy using only links.
I could make it with Anchor macro but ..'As part of that simplification, the Anchor macro was removed.'
Hello @Irina !
As I understand, you need to embed Confluence page excerpts in Jira tickets. Currently
As you said, the Anchor macro has been removed from Confluence. However, we can still redirect to specific parts of the text by using Linkable Headings.
Linkable Headings are the headings created by Confluence when you apply any of the heading styles to text in a Confluence page.
Currently, you can achieve a similar result to what we had with the Anchor macro by applying the heading style to either a heading in your text or to a whole paragraph.
This is what it looks like when I apply the “Heading 4” style to a paragraph:
Here we can see the “Heading 2” style applied to a heading in my test text:
When you apply the heading style, you should be presented with a “link” button when viewing the page after publishing. If someone accesses Confluence via this specific link, they will fall right into the Heading you created.
You could copy and paste the actual text content you want to display in Jira and then create a link behind it. The link would then redirect to the Linkable heading in Confluence.
I hope this helps!
