How I add a Confluence page to a JIRA ticket?

I would like to link a JIRA ticket with a Confluence page.

I mentioned the JIRA in the Confluence page, and in the old JRIA view I noticed there's a link to the Confluence page.

However, nothing appears in the new view. Is there something I'm missing? How can I achieve this?

Just pasting the URL in the JIRA description doesn't look great.

In Jira Cloud....

Open the ticket ...go to the top right corner click on the ellipsis. Navigate to Link. Select Confluence Page from the wizard then paste your URL.

*Edit* Realized you said NEW ...just double checked in my own instance....same issue unable to link Confluence pages to the ticket.
