How Do I edit an existing Draw.io object?

I have a page with a draw.io object. When I hover over the object in view mode, there are no options presented. When I hover over the object is edit mode, I get an image resize/manipulation toolbar.

I can create and insert new objects. I have tried the insert -> Recent Draw.io files method, but insert doesn't present recent files, it only shows new objects to create.

I can not find a way to edit an existing draw.io object.

I am an admin for the space and have full edit/delete permissions.

Is this Confluence Cloud or Server? If server, what versions of Confluence and of draw.io do you have?

Confluence cloud server. I solved part of it over the weekend. I created a draw.io object in one page and then needed to add it to another page. The object inserted in the other page is a graphic object representing the draw.io object, not the draw.io object itself.

My solution was to delete the object, create it in the second page where it can be edited.
