Dear team,

I have trouble with login in Confluence, and the message showed below.

"nisekoblack.atlassian.netWe couldn’t log you in

You may run into this issue when you use specific browsers or add-ons that hide the referer header for id.atlassian.com and other Atlassian sites. Check for these and then try logging in again.

Try logging in again"

Anyone can help me with this?

Many thanks,

E.

Hello there!

Hope you're doing well today. :)

Generally, when this issue happens, can be tied to old information cached on the browser or another browser issue, such as browser extensions.

In this case, all of the issues related to this error message, were resolved by clearing the cache and cookies from all time.

In this case, if you're able to clear the cache from all time but it does not work yet, another possibility would be to go to Chrome Settings > Advanced and click on Reset Settings for Chrome and see if that also helps.

So, in this case, these would be the steps I would like to suggest you to try, in order to discard any environment issues:

  • Make sure that you are running the latest version of the browser, so it will be compatible with the Cloud environment
  • Clear all the browser's temporary data from all time (usually Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows or Command+Shift+Delete on Mac) and also the following steps:
    For example, in Google Chrome.
  • Manually disable the browser extensions to avoid any of them possibly blocking the content to be loaded.
  • Run the browser in incognito mode to see if this is affected by stored information on the browser.
  • Try on a different browser;
  • Try on a different machine/environment so we can discard possible different configurations.

Let us know how it goes! Hope to hear from you soon. laugh
