Does anyone out there know how to resolve this error?
I was able to install the product successfully but when the instance launched in the web browser, I get the following error:
HTTP Status 500 - Internal Server Error

Internal Server Error could be caused by several things.
Could you please elaborate on your statement - "I was able to install the product successfully but when the instance launched in the web browser" ? When you say "I was able to install the product successfully" it means you were able to set up Confluence from the web (setting up database, adding license, setting up user administrator...) up until creating an Space and after that the Internal Server Error happened?
If you are accessing Confluence behind a proxy, could you please make sure the proxy is up and running? The same for the database Confluence is connected to. Not to mention external User Management (e.g LDAP if configured)
