We use groups from our Active Directory within Confluence. We have lots of groups, therefore it would be useful for our users to have a list of groups in some kind of group directory. As confluence administrator I see this list in the Confluence configuration, but is there a way to make this list available to normal users?

Hi Michael,
Confluence currently doesn't have this fucntionality. I've created this feature request for you: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-36353
Please vote in that report and ask your colleagues to vote as well to increase the popularity.
Cheers,
Rodrigo
Thank you for creating the feature request; I found an answer with a user macro that is also a good starting point for implementing this. https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/11081749/answers/11082098
