Upon trying to save a newly created page, i receive an error:
We have jira & confluence hosted on the same host:
* jira runs on external interface with https://jira...
* confluence runs on internal interface with http://confluence.../confluence
Hi Marc,
I would start by having a look at the following:
Can you confirm if you access via the IP you have the same issue?
If the above also do not help, the next step would be to review your Confluence Server Logs at the time you try to save. You should see an error message there that will give us some hint as to what might be occurring.
Regards,
Shannon
Hi Shannon,
the two links you sent me did not help and using the plain ip address doesn't help either...
Here is the logging line appearing when trying to save a newly created page:

Thanks for help!

Hi Marc,
This is just a warning, but seems related to Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection changes in Atlassian REST.
Do you happen to see any other lines in the logs that are error messages? They will start with ERROR instead of WARN and finish with a Caused by: statement.

Shannon

Hi Shannon,
sorry - no other log messages indicate an ERROR/WARN messages in the log.
Do you have any other idea?
thank you for your help and regards

In that case, I will direct your question to the support team, because we will need to review your Support Zip which will have further relevant information for us.
Please check your email in about 5 minutes for those details.
Thank you!
Shannon

Hi Marc,
Thank you for providing your full error logs on the support zip.
My colleague was able to look through your logs there, and we believe it's related to this bug:
As he mentioned in the case, this should be resolved as of 6.2.1, so please feel free to test this in a staging environment running 6.2.1 and let us know if the issue continues.

Shannon

Hi Shannon,
trying to create a docker-instance of confluence and restoring the backup yields the following:
Currently stalling. the backup.zip file was about 400 MB in size and has been put into the restore directory. Is there a faster possibility to recreate our realtively small instance?
thank you & best regards
Marc

Hi Marc,
Could you let me know if you're using the XML backup as a method to perform the upgrade that was recommended by my colleague in order to eliminate the bug?
If so, please note that our Upgrading Confluence documentation:
XML backups should not be used to upgrade Confluence.
Please be sure to follow the above documentation for the recommended upgrade procedure.
Regards,
Shannon
