i have installed confluence 6.13 - confirmed by the setup telling me to start via localhost:8090.

But when i tries it - it will not start. no login , no nothing - just timeout. When i am i Linux cmd - i cannot find any traces about confluence 6.13! Where on the server do i find the installation, server.xm etc

Hi Tim,

the linux installer asks for an installation directory (one for the app and one for your data/home). Inside the home directory there's a logs directory providing more information.

You can also look inside the Linux /etc/init.d directory for the confluence startup script. Inside this script there's the path to the application directory.
