Freezed connecting massage when editting page

When trying to edit a page, there is a "connecting..." massage at the bottom right corner and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Can you confirm your Confluence version, and check if the following applies to your instance?

The version is Confluence 6.10.1

It seems that the problem is related to an add-on I installed, so this is now under investigation on their side. I'll update here about the conclusions.

Thank you for confirming that. The article I sent you mentions an add-on that causes this issue. Is that the add-on you are referring to?

Actually not, it's another one (blueprint creator) - but the behavior is similar, except in my case this happens upon editing and not creating a new page.

If you can confirm the add-on that's causing this, it will help us to know for the future in case someone runs into the issue.

When I disable the add-on, the problem disappears. Maybe it's not the add-on directly but some kind of collision with other add-on/s.  The support team of the add-on is unable to find hints for the problem in the logs and suspect it's a client-side issue (I doubt it but I will update...)

Ah, thank you for confirming that! It definitely confirms there's some mismatch between the add-on and what the server is trying to do.

Hi Shannon,

The Blueprint Creator team was able to find the bug. They quickly released a hotfix to address the issue. Quoting version 1.4.4 version notes: "Fixed a bug that caused the editor to freeze".

All works great now, thanks!
