Formatting issue's using the Assets object macro

Hi,

I want to use the Assets object macro to pull a multiline block of text out of our database. Its a single attribute and im using the Display as "Single Insline Object".

But before the text the word describtion (in German: "Beschreibung") is placed, which ruines the formatting of the text. (look examble below)

It may not be fully clear from the picture but i need to scroll to see the right side of the text.

As u can see the text overrides the border.

If u have any idea where this problemm is coming from or how to fix it.

Before I begin, please specify your Confluence Data Center and Assets (Insight) app versions. Display of long text attributes varies by version, so this info ensures accurate support.

When an attribute appears as a Single Inline Object, Confluence shows the label and value side by side within a fixed-width container. If the text is too long, it won't wrap but will instead overflow, giving you the option to scroll horizontally, just like in your screenshots.

A few things I would try:

• Wrap the macro within an Expand or Panel macro with fixed width to ensure proper wrapping, which may not occur with raw inline display.
• Checking the raw value directly in Assets for line breaks or hidden HTML.
• Check if the attribute is defined as Text or Textarea in Assets schema. Text attributes render inline without wrapping; Textarea behaves differently.
• Instead for a Single Inline Object, use the standard object table display limited to one attribute column and hide the header row. This uses a full-width table cell that wraps normally instead of a narrow inline container.
• If none of that helps, this seems to be a CSS limitation of inline display for long text values, not a setup issue, and worth a support ticket with your version details.
