Greetings,
I have created a Confluence page and have then inserted a section for 'Jira Work items' which displays all live Jira info as a list which is really helpful.
The problem I have is that the data inside the list is justified as align middle left as a default and the only changes I can make to this is to (un)wrap the text. This makes it hard for users to read the page when there is a lot of text presented.
Is is possible to justify the text in any of the columns to align top left?
Many thanks...
You can only wrap/unwrap the text of a column by clicking on the column header.
I don't really understand how align top vs middle could improve readability.
Are you using Description as a column?
Hi Dave,
Thanks for your reply.
One of the fields contains commentary/text (column 9) and can range from a few words to a large amount of text. When faced with the latter, the user has to scroll using the vertical scroll bar to locate the info about the Jira in columns 1-8. It would be better if the data was aligned at the top so that this important info is visible. See below example.
Regards,
David

Hi @David Kaczmarczyk ,
Thanks for the example, it helped to understand your issue better.
Unfortunately, the standard editor toolbar options don't allow you to directly modify text alignment within individual cells of tables created by the Jira Work Items macro.
If, by any chance, you have a Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app, then with the help of our Table Transformer macro, you would be able to customize the Jira Work Items list as you wish. It utilizes SQL queries, for which our Support team can assist you. PS. A quick disclaimer that I'm part of this app, but it doesn't make it any less cool.
Let me know if you have any questions :)
