Hi! I've not used Forge in a while, so when I came back to it I updated tons of stuff and checked that I'm on the latest supported version. I also see that Docker is no longer required for tunneling.

  • node.js version = v20.18.0
  • npm v = v10.7.0
  • forge version = 10.11.0

I've started a few new apps and have tried to start tunneling so I can apply hotfixes to edit quickly but the terminal just sits there forever and does not really start the tunnel.

I'm not sure what is causing the issue.

Hi Harrison,

I ran into an issue with Forge tunnel few weeks ago and it turned out to be related to port 7844 being blocked. It was addressed with this documentation:

https://developers.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-one/connections/connect-networks/deploy-tunnels/tunnel-with-firewall/

Thanks for that link, @Michael Wan ! That must be it since it's now working at home for me, but not in the office. Too bad --verbose didn't have more of a useful answer lol. Thanks again!
