Floating table of contents through new CSS class name attribute

Since recently, the table of contents macro supports a CSS class name. It looks like this would enable creating a floating ToC, but where can I define the CSS class for it?

@Bert Roos It's been a while since you asked this question. Have you found an answer to it yet? We are currently facing the same obstacle and so far we are left empty handed.

Unfortunately not. The restyled ToC was announced in a blog post. There I asked the same question and even mentioned the responsible product manager, but nobody responded.

It is a missed opportunity. Being able to style the ToC through CSS is great, but if you can't add classes, it's useless.
